I acknowledge and fully understand that my participation in any SouthBay AutoClub event is voluntary and undertaken solely at my own risk and for my personal benefit. I am fully aware of and accept all inherent and potential risks associated with participation, including, but not limited to, the risk of bodily injury (including permanent disability or death), property damage, vehicular damage, or any financial loss, regardless of how such injury, damage, or loss may occur, including those caused by negligence, accident, equipment failure, weather conditions, road hazards, or the actions or inactions of others. I assume full responsibility for all such risks and expressly waive, release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless SouthBay AutoClub, its officers, directors, members, agents, sponsors, volunteers, affiliates, property owners, contractors, and any associated individuals or entities (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, legal fees, and causes of action, known or unknown, now or in the future, arising from or in connection with my participation in the event. I further agree to indemnify and defend the Released Parties against any claims made by third parties arising from my actions, including but not limited to violations of law, negligence, or willful misconduct. I acknowledge that this waiver is binding on me, my heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, family members, and assigns, and that it constitutes a legal and enforceable release of liability. I understand there will be no racing, reckless driving, stunts, or betting of any kind permitted, and that all participants must comply with all traffic laws, regulations, and ordinances at the city, county, state, and federal levels. Any participant found to be violating these rules, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, endangering others, or exhibiting any unsafe behavior will be immediately removed from the event and may be permanently banned from future events. I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary and appropriate insurance for myself, my passengers, and my vehicle(s), including but not limited to automobile liability insurance, collision and comprehensive coverage, medical insurance, and any other protection required for participation. I understand that any citations, legal penalties, towing, impound, fines, or damage to vehicles (mine or others) incurred during or in connection with the event are my sole responsibility. I acknowledge that SouthBay AutoClub makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding the condition of the roads, routes, safety of locations, or security of parked vehicles. I grant SouthBay AutoClub and its affiliates full permission to photograph, record, or film me and my vehicle(s) during the event and to use such media, without restriction or compensation, for promotional, marketing, archival, or commercial purposes now and in the future. I understand that the registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances unless otherwise stated in writing, and that it does not cover gas, lodging, meals, fines, or any personal expenses. I certify that I am of legal driving age, possess a valid driver’s license, and that my vehicle is properly registered and in safe, operable condition. I have read and fully understand this waiver and release of liability, and by submitting payment and/or participating in the event, I voluntarily agree to be bound by all its terms. If I am registering or signing on behalf of a minor or additional participants, I represent that I have full legal authority to do so, and I accept full responsibility for their safety and compliance with this agreement.
